My Father

Today is my fathers birthday and there is a little sadness in my heart knowing he is getting older. Well so do I on my birthday, but that doesn't make me sad. My father has made his life an everyday adventure. From swooping cars for boats, boats to a large black car that had running panels on each side and I would play in the car with my friends that we were in a mob and we would take turns being the driver and the Big Boss. It really was fun. Then he traded the car for a pop up camper and we would go camping at least every other weekend. Now that was real fun and the first time I ever caught my first fish. No matter what we cooked while we were camping the food always tasted better. Well then he traded the camper for a Harley Hog that he let me drive it around the house and on the road in front of our house. I really couldn't go to far cause he let some air out of the tires just to make sure. With the hours he worked they were called swing shifts. On the weekends he didn't work we would leave like on a Friday evening and go spend a few nights in Florida, that was the best trade he make. Well Dad Happy Birthday and many more to come. I love you..
