If something seams to upset one person then it grows into many. Lets say, we as Americans have rights to freedom, bare arms, free speech. Sometimes the free speech becomes a new law in some or all States. Like smoking...The problem is that the right to pray, to use Gods name in the Pledge to our Flag, etc. Is taking away our rights. Yes people who smoke have a risk of Cancer of the Lungs, Throat, etc. and Second hand smoke gives people a slight risk of the same thing. My point is this no smoking in public places is OK, BUT when smokers or told they can not smoke outside in parks or other places. I feel that is getting a little out of hand. Is it going to get to the point that people have to sign a contract not to smoke in a New Home they are trying to buy? It will be their home and they should be able to smoke if they want, they should be able to smoke in their cars as well. I just feel all these new laws in different States is really getting out of hand.
Take a minute and think about our ancestors who rolled their own cigarettes, chewed snuff, had spittoons all around their homes. 90% of my ancestors died not of cancer but of Old Age and a few heart problems. I just don't see these new Laws making people stop smoking, nor do I see the young people stop trying it just one time like they do with drugs.
Out Law Smoking and it becomes a dare to all and make smokers angry about it that they will pay no matter how much it cost and youth will use it as a drug. People enough is enough. Stop taking away the freedom that we were given.
It is sad so much has already been taken away from us. People please stop asking for Laws to be changed and let us keep our God given FREEDOM.
